Pair of 19th Century Bronze and Gilt Bronze Chenet
A good pair of bronze and gilt bronze chenet dating from the last quarter of the 19th century. In the manner of Raingo Freres.

Emile Coriolan Hippolyte Guillermin was born in 1841 and made his debut at the salon in 1870. His oeuvre was varied but specialised in heroic and exotic genres paying great attention to detail and accurate costumes in his figurative subjects. The realism in his figures , particularly his bronzes, was aided by his remarkable chiseling and use multi-patina colours. He died in 1907.
