Charles Caccia and Henry Dasson respectively 1883 and 1885. A quite exceptional pair of Carrara marble and bronze figures of Nubian male and female figures. Both signed, the bases and socle by Dasson. From the distinguished collection of Sir Ralph Gilbert. Sold at Christies New York in 2004. Quite exceptional quality and condition.
