A particularly fine George III period mahogany breakfront bookcase of very good form. Low waisted and retaining the original broken arch pediment. With carved detail of the very best quality with the central waist bordered with Vitruvian scrolls and with egg and dart mouldings to the other protruding surfaces. The base of the interior has a fitted central section with close-knit drawers, the outer section with pigeon holes. Exceptional colour and matched timbers
